Thanks for the advice. My OS is Windows XP. A search found the file, article.cls, in C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.7\tex\latex\base and in several other folders. I tried reconfiguring LyX, but the effort failed. It said, "Default textclass is used but LyX may not be able to work properly." A

copy paste not working

hello, just now discovered that in my 1.6.6.1. alt installer lyx on vista copy & paste from other applications (like Firefox or openoffice) into lyx is not working. Any suggestions? C&P within lyx works well. Also I am sure it has worked before. Thanks a lot and greetings from Berlin SK
