Having trouble importing latex to lyx
Hi, I'm using the import function of lyx to import latex to lyx. With some latex file, this works fine, but one file can't be imported, reporting: stammt von einer älteren Lyx-Version, aber das lyx2lyx-Skript konnte das Dokument nicht konvertieren. I tried Lyx 1.6.8 and Lyx 2.0 beta 3. Niko -- http://scg.unibe.ch/staff/Schwarz twitter.com/nes1983 Tel: +41 078 612 6354
subfigure caption positioning
Hello list, I was wondering if it is possible to change the caption position of a subfigure. Said another way, I would like to place the (a), (b), (c), etc., atop each subfigure rather than beneath them as is by default. Still I must keep the main caption at the bottom... Using LyX 1.6.8 on windows 7. Thanks in advance, and best regards, Eduardo Horta

Can you send me this file privately? The LaTeX--LyX conversion is going fine, but the LyX file that is produced itself has to be converted to a newer LyX format, and that is what is failing. What I'd like to see is whether we're producing an invalid LyX file the first time, or else failing to convert it the second time. Richard
Exporting to a Custom Path
Dear LyX Users, Does anyone know how to export a document to a custom URL with LyX? I've been playing with the creation of e-books using the XHTML export in LyX 2.0 (and it works really well), but would like to export to a directory different than the one which holds my files. I can't seem to find an option in the Document Settings, Preferences or Menus. Cheers, Rob
