Is it possible to have a separator (like a thin line) between columns in program listings? It just doesn't look right without one; that is, it's not intuitively apparent that there two columns. Enabling line numbers helps a lot, but in most cases I don't need line numbering anyway.

Hi I’ve been using lyx 1.6 since the middle of last year and just updated miktex and lyx to their newest (i think) versions 2.9 and 1.6.9 respectively. Everything installed fine (I did a clean install) but when I create a pdf document of my lyx file there are no spaces between any of the words.

The most likely explanation is that the Beamer LaTeX package is not installed. Since you're on Win 7, you are almost surely using MiKTeX as your LaTeX distribution. Run the MiKTeX package manager and look for the Beamer entry. If it's not installed, tell the package manager to install it. Once

Separator between columns in program listings?

Is it possible to have a separator (like a thin line) between columns in program listings? It just doesn't look right without one; that is, it's not intuitively apparent that there two columns. Enabling line numbers helps a lot, but in most cases I don't need line numbering anyway.

No spaces when creating pdf from lyx

Hi I’ve been using lyx 1.6 since the middle of last year and just updated miktex and lyx to their newest (i think) versions 2.9 and 1.6.9 respectively. Everything installed fine (I did a clean install) but when I create a pdf document of my lyx file there are no spaces between any of the words.
