Re: place figure at the end

2011-07-27 Thread Stephen Buonopane

In my lyx document I wish to put the figure approximatively where
they should be in the final document. However, I wish, in a draft
version, to have all the figures coming at the end of the document.
Is there an option to do so ?

Try the endfloat package. In the preamble put
\usepackage{endfloat}

Or if you do not have a lot of figures you could manually select the
float setting and change to "Here definitely"

Usually I use figcaps package, inserted in latex preamble
(Document>settings>latex preamble)

\usepackage[printfigures]{figcaps}

It works for me in article class document.

Yes [1], but best is to search the bug tracker [2] to see if such a
request/bug report exists and, if not, report it.

I'll add a +1 here. Editing wide tables without an horizontal scroll
bar is a major, major pain.

Is there a place in the wiki for suggested features, a wish list?

Re: Society of Biblical Literature (SBL).bst style

Hi,

I'm currently using Lyx 2.0 on Linux Mint Debian Edition with Texlive 2009 and
storing all my bibliographic entries in JabRef.

I'm writing a thesis and up until now, my university has previously asked for
all bibliographic entries to be in the Chicago Turabin note-bibliography style.

This hasn't been a problem for me -- I simply added \usepackage{opcit} to the
LateX Preamble and chose opcit from the Style list.

As of 1 September 2011, my university is now requiring all bibliographic entries
to be in the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) style.

Searching LyX Wiki and Google has only turned up the one pointer at
http://wiki.lyx.org/BibTeX/JurabibSBL.

Using the information there, I select Jurabib from the Citation Style, then copy
and paste the following in to the LaTeX Preamble:

\addto\jbonlyforbib{%

\DeclareRobustCommand{\bibapyldelim}{\unskip\unskip\space}%
\DeclareRobustCommand{\bibapyrdelim}{}%
}%

\renewcommand{\bibapyldelim}{(} \renewcommand{\bibapyrdelim}{)} \jurabibsetup{
titleformat=italic,% titleformat=commasep,% titleformat=all,%
titleformat=commasep% bibformat=compress,% bibformat=ibidem,% oxford,%
commabeforerest,% citefull=first,% pages=format% }>

Try to format this last part in this way:

\renewcommand{\bibapyldelim}{(}
\renewcommand{\bibapyrdelim}{)}
\jurabibsetup{%
 titleformat=italic,%
 titleformat=commasep,%
 titleformat=all,%
 titleformat=commasep,%
 bibformat=compress,%
 bibformat=ibidem,%
 oxford,%
 commabeforerest,%
 citefull=first,%
 pages=format%
}

But I can't get it to work. Has anyone had any experience with this and could
give some advice please?

Thanks,

Mark.

Hi,

is it possible to use the labeling environment in Koma Letter?

Is there an easy way to include the Tex GyreFot in the Pulldown
for the fonts? I like them and even use them as the screen fonst
so it would increase the experience :-)-O
