Cannot preview a lyx file

Hello, I am just starting to work with with Lyx and therefore I am obviously no expert. Atm I am having huge problems with a simple step right at the beginning. After I create a new file (no template) and enter a small text I cannot preview it. I always get the message "No pdf viewer is installed.
