IEEE conferences class missing in LyX 2.1?

At the What's new in LyX 2.1 at http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/NewInLyX21 says that LyX supports now not only papers for IEEE journals but also contributions to IEEE conferences I'm using LyX 2.1.0 beta 2 and I don't see the IEEE conferences class listed. Jerry

Ingar, I am making progress. Thank you very much. However, the files you sent will not create indexes on my slackware 7.0 system. I tried them in lyx 2.0.6 and, just in case, 2.0.0. I have used these lyx programs for years and they seem to work fine. If permitted, I will attach two files,
