Hello Actually the issue come also to generation of the latex (plain): I can generate \setcounter{tocdepth}{1} or \setcounter{tocdepth}{3} but never: \setcounter{tocdepth}{2} while it is required to get Sections and Subsections only! Hello With the new version of lyx I get a compilation error when I try to change the font size (eg small) in the caption of a figure: Runaway argument? {{\small {}Enlargements of the absorption spectrum around the dissoci\ETC. ! Paragraph ended before \NR@gettitle was complete. \par l.2017 ...e of ${\rm \sim50\,ps}$).}{\small \par}} I suspect you've forgotten a `}', causing me to apply this control sequence to too much text. But perhaps the } is legitimate and you forgot something else, as in `\hbox{$x}'. In such cases the way to recover is to insert both the forgotten and the deleted material, e.g., by typing `I$}'. === Patrick DUPRÉ | | email: pdu...@gmx.com Laboratoire de Physico-Chimie de l'Atmosphère | | Université du Littoral-Côte d'Opale | | Tel. I kept a small console window open next to the application frame and went from one notebook tab to the next using import. When inserted in the LyX document they all allowed changes to the bounding box. Rich

Re: Accessing non-Latex truetype font in LyX
I have managed to get my screen font and output fonts set to 'unspell' as wanted and it is working well. My next problem is that would like to mix two fonts in the body of the text. It looks relatively easy to do this changing lanuages but it is not obvious to me how to do this when all I want to do is change the font (preferably both screen and output to pdf but I'd settle for pdf at the moment.
