Blacklisting 'lithasa' has worked for me. Gordon. On 29/03/15 10:04, Gordon Cooper wrote: I have blacklisted that sender at my ISP so should not get any more. Gordon. See the doc (http://mirrors.ctan.org/fonts/fourier-GUT/doc/latex/fourier/fourier-doc-en.pdf) how to get the upright Greek characters: Fourier-GUTenberg provides two greeks, slanted and upright, that may be used in the same document. ... The way these symbols may be obtained depends of the required option ( sloped or upright ). ... The \other prefix allow you to switch from one greek to the other. ... For instance, \[\alpha,\otheralpha,\Omega,\otherOmega\] ... There are only 16 slots for mathematical alphabets in TeX. Whether these suffice or not depends on the combination of documentclass and package(s) defining them. "bm" is known to be problematic. "Beamer" loads additional sans-serif mathematical fonts. For details, see e.g. the "isomath" documentation ftp://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/tex/macros/latex/contrib/isomath/isomath.html#conflicts . sincerely, Günter

lyx latex export aux file
I try to reduce the bib file, which I created with jabref, to the cited references (the bib file contains many more). For this purpose I want to select the aux file. This file I get by exporting from lyx to normal latex. However, I get an error message saying that names of figures such as VanDerPol-DreiOszModul_SA-AV-HP-Sig_SA-Stoer_-1.0-80.0-0.216_Gois-Savi_V6.pdf might pose problems in producing the dvi file. I guess it complains about the underline sign. Do I have to rename all these figures, or can I ignore it or is there a work around? Wolfgang
