Just a note: my installation didn't work until I downloaded the whole MikTeX source and installed from it. The installation itself doesn't have to be for all available packages.
Took me several tries and a few different downloads to realize this.It'd probably be better to exclude MikTeX partial source from LyX package, their installation is annoyingly buggy.
