Yes. This document is English only, but it happens with ALL documents, RTL and
LTR. Always the rightmost margin. This picture is of a Hebrew document.

It would be very helpful to have an example file.

Sorry, but it is not a file – it is the application itself.

Does this make a difference if you set the UI language to English?

No. It just happens when I type. Always. The display refreshes as I type but
the rightmost 2 millimeters (approx.) And it did happen for me with earlier
versions on earlier machines.

I'm using LyX 2.2.2 on Windows X in Hebrew. When I type in the middle of
a paragraph, and change the words in the consecutive lines, I get that
the rightmost letter does not change with the rest of the line. In this
Screenshot, you can see that instead of 'another' it shows something
like 'anothee', the last e comes from the word that appeared before.

This problem occurred for me with earlier versions of Win & LyX.

The solution I used all the time is to scroll the screen with the mouse,
but trying to extract the screenshot I found that pressing the ALT key
solves the problem, yet I think this should not happen at all. Suggestions?

The error message is pretty clear: The package beramono (or bera, for
that matter) is missing. Install it.

Problems: Miede's ClassicThesis.lyx using Mageia 6

2017-07-23 Thread Michael Berger

Dear all,
I am now using Mageia 6, Kernel 4.9.35-desktop-1.mga6 / 64-bit / KDE

My many LyX documents of various classes produced in Mageia 5 generated
PDF without any problems. In Mageia 6 all other document classes do so
as before but my "ClassicThesis.lyx" documents throw out error messages.
I then tried Miede's original forms (nothing was added, edited or
changed) and again no PDF was generated instead the following errors
were reported:

classicthesis-LyX-v4.1
Latex Error: \bflabel undefined
Latex Error: File 'beramono.sty' not found

classicthesis-LyX-v4.2_biblatex_biber
Latex Error: File 'beramono.sty' not found

classicthesis-LyX-v4.2_biblatex_bibtex8
Latex Error: File 'beramono.sty' not found

What could be the problem here?

Thanks and regards,
Michael
