Thanks! I linked to the ticket from the other, so at least we have
everything up there for anyone who can take a look.

No, they do not work on Linux or Windows, because the bindings are only
the default on Mac. See the following file:

  lib/bind/mac.bind

In any case, if they don't do what you expect, and it's not a duplicate
of #8055, perhaps open a trac ticket. I don't have time to look into
this more at the moment.

Definitely related, though more specific about cross-platform behaviors.

My concern is mainly what is reflected in the LyX interface for Cmd-G does
not seem to work. On Linux / Windows, does Ctrl-G perform a forward find
(i.e., find next occurrence)?

Thanks,
Joel

Just add

\renewcommand{\headrulewidth}{0pt}

to the preamble.

Problem with image insertion

2018-06-13 Thread Harold Mouras
Dear Lyx Users,
I am trying to insert images at the beginning of a document like logos for a
letter like in the attached example. I would like to have the first image left
centered and the second one right centered at the same line level but cannot
figure out what paragraph setting to use to do that. Should I introduce a
special line command for that ?
Thank you very much in advance for your help,
Regards,
Harold

I can observe that the number of line for the page foot is limited and
then some text is put out of the page. Thus, it that possible to set
the size of the footage text ?

Thank you again for your so quick responses !

Try typing a double backslash (\\) where you want the line break.

Paul

Please bottom-post when mailing to the list.

To squeeze in a footer that huge, I think you would need to increase the
bottom margin. You can do that in Document > Settings > Page Margins,
but that applies to every page. I think Kornel's suggestion elsewhere in
the thread is better, since a footnote is restricted to one page and
does not affect subsequent pages.

Question on header and footer

2018-06-13 Thread Harold Mouras
Dears Users,
thank you for your help regarding a preliminary question on header and footer.
With such a LateX preamble :

\usepackage{fancyhdr}
\pagestyle{fancy}
\renewcommand\footrulewidth{0.4pt}
\fancyfoot[C]{\small Harold Mouras \\ Professor of Neuroscience |
Editor-in-Chief "Socioaffective Neuroscience & Psychology"
\\ harold.mou...@u-picardie.fr | +33 (7) 83 62 93 31 \\ University of Picardy
Jules Verne | Psychology Department | Chemin du Thil | 80 025 Amiens Cedex 1,
France \\ Pathological Neurosciences Laboratory | CURS Rue René Laennec | 80054
Amiens Cedex 1, France}

I have want I want but I observe the separation line both in the head and the
foot of the page. How is that possible to get it only at the foot ?
Thank you,
Best,
Harold

Why? What is wrong with

Document->Settings...->Modules->Custom Header/Footerlines

together with

Document->Settings...->Page Layout->Page style->fancy

?

Insert a footnote and use Ctrl-Return for new lines

I think this is a better solution, since you can limit it easily to just
one page.
