Re: Lyx V2.3.2 - Issues with svgs snippets on Mac OS X
Daniel, I have tired all sorts of things on Mac OS X Mojave but I cannot get either SVG or SVGZ files to render in Lyx. Just get error generating loadable format. I was wondering if any other users on Mac OS X Mojave are having problems with rendering SVG and/or SVGZ? An easy way to test this is to load up the User Manual in Lyx and scroll down until you hit the small svgs snippets in the text (used to store pictures of screen buttons in the file). Thanks. I can reproduce the problem. And it depends on the size of the vertical space set as paragraph separation. I am not sure how the preview rendering is done but I guess for some reason a paragraph break seems to be added at it's beginning. I suggest you file a bug report. Daniel

I am sending a minimal not working example. To include the name of the chapter authors in the Toc, I have follow a method explained in StackExchange: https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/156862/displaying-author-for-each-chapter-in-book?newreg=cc7bd951630649d0af0686b5a3446973 I tried to expand the method, including the following code in the Latex Preamble, but it doesn't work. Any idea of how to include the authors of the chapters in the TOC and in the header? There are so many things that could be going wrong. I'd suggest creating a simple test document that includes this code and tries to do what you want to do. Then we can maybe diagnose the problem.
