Retaining old file structure when editing in new version?
One of the reasons I'm going for LyX is the greater cross-compatbility between my Windows desktop and Linux laptop. However the newest versions available for each system are different - 1.6.1 on Windows and 1.4.3 on the EeePC. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a file saved in 1.6.1 won't open in 1.4.3. Is it possible for me to make version 1.6.1 save in a way which retains compatibility with the older version? Thanks David Russell
