How to number an inline equation
Hi, Here is the situation: I have a bunch of inline equations to number. They have \displaystyle, are centered on a separate line. So basically they look like a real display-styled equations. The ONLY difference is that those real display equations created by CTRL+SHIFT+M has a larger spacings away from its adjacent paragraphs, which I don't quite look like. Then I found I couldn't number my pseudo-displaystyle equation. So I was wondering if anyone have any clue about how to do this, or EQUIVALENTLY, how can I modify the style of real displaystyle equation which can be numbered, such that their spacing become less? Thanks in advance!

Lyx crash with unknown reason
Hello all, Every time I tried to open a lyx file, or even new a file, lyx crashed. I was wondering if lyx keeps log file somewhere on my computer so that I can find what is going wrong? Problems on wrap float
Hey, guys: Here is the problem: I want to insert a text wrap float between two paragraphs. However, I always get an error message Paragraph ended before [EMAIL PROTECTED] was complete., with the more detailed description: I suspect you've forgotten a }, causing my applying this control sequence to too much text... . It ALSO happens it I tried float-figure, float-table, float-algorithm. The strange thing is everything works perfect good if I changed the paragraphs into standard text. I find the figure is wrapped by the text, except that the standard text loses indentation and other style. Is is a bug that is described in the lyx tutorial (sec 3.2.2)? What should I do now?
