hanging -- valid latex class declaration

Hi, I have updated latex classes in miktex(v 2.7) with a new class which is valid while using with winedt.. it builds beautiful papers but I want to use it in lyx.(v1.6.0 or 1.6.1 for win) so created a lyx layout and reconfigured lyx.. so now in document settings window I can see my class..

Hi, Finally, with the help of rh, I imported my latex template. but when I try to call \makenewapproval command latex says NO\ TITLE definition so added the following line to preample. \renewcommand\makenewapproval{} however command is not producing anything in the preview.possibly my command

Hi, I need to sort my multiple references...my references are sorted according to their occurence on the file and follows the order quiet well but when I give a multiple reference, [21,1,3,7] can be generated..but I want to sort this group in itself automatically. Any suggestions? Semih

bad quality images

Hi, I have copied a image from a pdf document by range selection and directly pasted to lyx.. Although the quality of the image in pdf document was superior upto 600%, the quality of image after lyx compilation is even worse in 100% zoom.. any suggestions on howto improve quality or what I am

Hi, I almost finished my thesis and now I recognized that all eqaution cross-references are shown as 1.23 I want them all be written as Eq. 1.23 or any other prefix. Are there any fast way to do this? thanks in advance.. Semih

Hi, I couldnot find any setting to adjust distance before and after the figures and tables. Can it be defined in latex class? if so, what parameter should I search for? Thanks Semih

Hi, In my toc, section names which are long are shown as xx .31 Is there a way to adjust the length at which latex cuts down the line and continue from the next line? I may do it as

Hi, in my schools latex class, title is written in this way.. \vbox{\begin{singlespace}\uppercase\expandafte...@title}\end{singlespace}} however since my title is too long I tried to separate it into 3 lines and used \\ or ragged break for this.. The output is neither double space nor single
