Xelatex font use causes new error: '\__prop_put_linked:wnnN doesn't match its definition'

2024-02-21 Thread Tom Wood
I came across a new bug this morning. This:

\documentclass[american]{article}

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}

\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}

\usepackage{babel}

\begin{document}

Test

\end{document}

Renders a pdf just fine. But this

\documentclass[american]{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\setmainfont[Mapping=tex-text]{Minion Pro}
\usepackage{polyglossia}
\setdefaultlanguage[variant=american]{english}
\begin{document}
Test
\end{document}

returns he error

! Use of \__prop_put_linked:wnnN doesn't match its definition.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks!

problem with LyZ/Zotero/LyX integration

2011-09-15 Thread Tom Wood
hey list

I'm having trouble integrating Zotero 3.0b21, LyX 2.0.1 and LyZ 2.1.4.

I've changed the settings in LyX so that LyZ can send citations, and they
appear in the LyX editor perfectly. I can also update the BibTeX file from
LyZ.

However, when I go to preview a *.pdf, in place of a citation, all I see is
"  [?]   ".

Is there something obvious I'm doing wrong?

Using non-computer modern numbers in lyx 2.0

2011-05-10 Thread Tom Wood
First, thanks for the integration of XeTeX and LuaTeX and LyX. LyX is now a
brilliant tool.

One problem remains- I'm sure there's a very simple fix for this, so I
apologize in advance if I've missed something obvious.

I use ERT to bring statistical tables from R, an open source statistics
language. This works great, except that the numbers in these tables remain
Latin Modern, rather than whatever font I've used with XeTeX. I've attached
the compiled pdf and the lyx file.

Is there an easy way to ensure that the numbers in the table match the font
used in the text and the table?

Thanks

Tom
