problem displaying angstrom symbol
Hi, I have a problem in lyx displaying the angstom symbol using \AA within the math mode, i.e. if I want to view the document as pdf the angstrom sign is not there. However it works if I write \AA in Tex mode or insert it from InsertSpecial Charecters Symbols... On the bottom pane of the lyx display, there is a short info message. In one case it says Type: simple Macro:AA and in the other case ( which works) it just says Type: simple. What is the difference? How can resolve this issue? Thanks in advance! Ider

Capitalisation in paper citations
Hello, Lyx users, I have a little problem concerning the Latex output of my bibliography list. Some words in the title of papers appear not capitalised even though it is in the bibtex file. For example there is a name of a person in the title which should begin with a capital letter which is however printed in small letters. I cannot find the reason for this behaviour. Hello, what package do I need for Bibtex generated bibliography? It seems that my lyx version which is a part of ubuntu natty narwal does not contain all standard packages (,e.g. needed for compilation of the UserGuide!!!). For UseGuide I had to install some packages in order to compile with pdflatex. And now I see that BibTex generated Bibliography does not work, there is no output of the Bibliography and the Citations are question marks (??). Can anyone help? Ider

Now it works. I had to generate my Bibtex file again. Wrong equation numbering
Hello, I am currently using lyx 2.0.0 for my thesis and have a very odd problem. The equation numbering on the lyx GUI is totally wrong though they are correct if I convert them View pdflatex. For example, equation is displayed as (561) on lyx, but the pdf output shows the correct numbering (1.1). What could be down to? Is there any setting option wrong? regards, Ider
