lyx-1.6/linux-rhel5 non-english text - dvi crash
hello,
setup: lyx 1.6.1 on linux RHEL5 (tetex 3.0)
1) I have problem when running view DVI on non-english text (czech):

... skip ... all defaults

ÄÄ = two characters

\end_layout
\end_body

then dvi viewer crashes with missfont.log: mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600
--mag 0+577/600 --dpi 577 rml
2) When the text contains only one character "č"
then everything is OK.
Also when I export as latex-plain arbitrary text with non English chars
and then run latex manually on the file, everything runs fine.
This seems to be a bug - but any workaround (except of downgrading)
would be appreciated.

Could you plese provide the pointer on the lyx 1.3.5 binary rpm for RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 or Fedora Core 1 or SRC rpm package? dead keys in 1.1.6
Hello all. I have recently experienced some problems with lyx-1.1.6 handling of dead keys when using a national (czech.kmap) keybord lyx layout. When pressing dead key acute there appears only a mark for footnote and for dead caron there appears a space. This behoviour appears on both RedHat linux 6.2/7.0(XFree4) i386. I have tried binary distribution (rpm) and also the one compiled from the sources - all with the same result. I should also note that all previous versiton up to 1.1.5fix2 work flawlessly.
