Images in child documents?

2007-11-14 Thread Joe Marshall

Hi all,

This is probably something stupid, but I've been fiddling for ages
trying to get it to work.

I have 1 master document, containing 3 child documents.

The child documents each contain a few jpg images. If I view DVI on the
child documents, the images show up fine.

When I do Ctrl+D / view DVI on the master document, instead of each
image, there is a blank frame with the name of a .eps file in the centre
of it.

I've checked in the temp directory it appears to be using ( in this case
C:\DOCUME~1\Us\LOCALS~1\Temp\lyx_tmpdir2136a02468\lyx_tmpbuf0 ), and the
.eps files are there, correctly generated from the .jpg, with the right
content inside them (they open fine in ghostview). The latex seems to be
being generated correctly as far as I can see.

So, where are my images going? Any ideas?

I've tested with 3 brand new documents with the same document class, and
just one image in each child document, and it works fine, so I don't
think it's my install, I think it must be something to do with these
particular documents, but I can't find anything obvious.

Aha,

I've got it. Just in case anyone else has the same problem, some option
I was using on the (custom) latex document class was being passed
through to the article class as the 'draft' option, which makes images
disappear.
