Keeping one-liner next to the folowing image

Hello.
I have a document heavy on images where I have:
One-liner

etc.
How can I 'help' LyX to put the One-liners and images together so I get:
One-liner
Image
One-liner
Image
-=Page-jump=-
One-liner
Image
One-liner

-=Page-jump=-

etc.
instead of

Thanks.

Thanks! That really help!
Now, for the Two-liners, can I tell LyX/LaTeX not to break paragraphs in two
pages (at least not when the second page doesn't get more than one line,
widow control ? orphan control ?) ?
Thanks.

quality of images

2005-12-26 Thread José Pablo Ezequiel Fernández
I have a document with PNG images. When I generate the PDF it seems the images
are compresed with JPEG, right ? Is it possible to improve the quality of
those JPEGs, because the images contain text and it looks really bad ? Or
better, can I use PNG ?
Thanks.

My taste is just the opposite.

Problem with depth.

2005-09-02 Thread José Pablo Ezequiel Fernández
Hello,
I am having a problem with depths where I have a paragraph and a set of items
(itemize) and everything should be in depth 1 (not 0), so I select it and I
choose increse depth. All the items except the fisrt one are put inside an
incresed depth (the first item and the paragraph are left out). Am I doing
something wrong ?
I am attaching the example file, I am using LyX 1.3.5 on Linux.
Thanks.
