Very short question, how to insert a blank page in lyx? I want to show the abstract and acknowledgements in separated page, nothing on the back of them. Then the TOC start the entire paper with the binding margin at left side. I search the google but no result.. Many thanks. -- Leon Chen

t is right with this pair. The left-quote in lyx is slightly leanes to left while the right quote is just vertical. Are they different symols which need different key to input? or the lyx will fix them automatically? I hope I expressed myself correctly... Thank you for your time. -- Leon Ch

Hi, The TOC automatically generated by lyx is very helpful. But it will not include the unnumbered chapter, or section. I used BOOK class in my thesis, but there is no such 'abstract', 'acknowledgements' 'appendix' 'user guide' formats in it. So I use unnumbered chapter (Chapter* ) to title these
