The hunspell backend is better prepared for this situation, though. You can open the message pane (in View menu) and enable debug messages for "Files used by LyX". Then make sure you've enabled the Hunspell checker in preferences. Now you can start the spell check and you'll see the files/directories LyX is looking for dictionaries in message pane. > Strange: I configured Hunspell in LyX and did an strace. Re: Footnotes question...
The problem in the footnotes is produced by defining flushleft paragraph that is assigned to the content of the footnote. You can see it making click on a footnote and with View View Source. If you put it like normal the problem disappears. You can control the format of the footnote with other commands that do not cause this problem. I use koma-script and I know nothing of memoir, so I can not say exactly how to do it Luck! Marcelo Acuña visitá mi sitio web http://www.aleph-uno.com.ar ==

Re: Resume Tables
I am trying to rewrite my resume in LyX. I attached my old resume which I made with Google docs. However I didn't find any way to have two columns where one can easily write some arbitrary text in one column on the same height as some text in the other column. I did this for achievements and dates in my old resume; you can see that each date is vertically aligned with the corresponding achievement. It's seems to me that you can easily make this with Insert Formatting Horizontal Space Horizontal Fill Bachelor of Science: Honours Mathematics Computer Science -- Horizontal Fill -- 2006 - 2010 Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 --- Horizontal fill -- 2003 Marcelo
