Yes, Hunspell is that bad when it comes to Finnish, in fact I'm not sure the dictionaries for Finnish even exist for Hunspell. I probably could try to install Ubuntu (I don't have enough space on my C drive so I'll have to find out if I can put it on my D drive, I have no previous experience using Linux). I hope support for Enchant will be added on the Windows installers of Lyx - I'm not a programmer so there is no hope that I myself could do it at the moment.
