Re: bug? powerdot problems with 2.0 beta 3
I can also replicate this problem on windows with the latest texlive and lyx 2beta4, but when the class option 'nopsheader' is removed, it compiles as expected with pd2pdf. - Original Message - From: moabi2000 Sent: 03/07/11 10:53 AM To: lyx-users@lists.lyx.org Subject: bug? powerdot problems with 2.0 beta 3 Hi, Using 2.0 beta 3 the powerdot example file fails to compile properly. Using ps2pdf, the orientation of the slides is wrong and they are truncated (attached pdf). Using dvipdfm the orientation is correct, but the style (background colours) do not show up (attached pdf). I found reference to these problems in this thread: http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-users@lists.lyx.org/msg76826.html but no sign that it was resolved. I have tried several variants of paper=screen etc I am running Fedora 14. I tried the same file under a default install of 1.6.9 under suse 11.4 and in this case: - ps2pdf works great - dvipdfm does not show sound colours What might be the problem? Thanks for your help M.

Re: LyZ: lyxpipe changes in 2.0?
Not sure with SVN, but with lyx 2b1 release lyz works almost fine. The only problem I had was that the latest lyz cannot create a bibtex record by itself, but that seems more like a lyz/firefox related problem. If I touch a .bib file manually, then lyz can port citations perfectly. - Original Message - From: Jose Quesada Sent: 12/03/10 07:37 PM To: sa...@lyx.org, lyx-users@lists.lyx.org Subject: Re: LyZ: lyxpipe changes in 2.0? Thanks Pavel, So this means that 2.0beta/svn doesn't work with LyZ? Is this fixable? I did try 1.6.8 and it did work :) Regards, Sam Madhani
