That's no problem, if you never used LyX. Just go to the LyX homepage
(www.lyx.org), where you can download the program. You're also finding a
manual, how to install it, because you need a TeX distribution to running LyX

the way how letters in Switzerland are written and I need it this way.

Thank you all for helping me. I've found the bug and fixed it. It was just,
that I've not properly done the format BEFORE writing the whole text, but

I'm writing a longer work for my history studies, but the footnotes come right
after the text. How can I manage, that between the main text and the footnote
comes a space from about 1cm? I'm writing my document in article style.
