Auto re-center is driving me crazy
Hi, I find the auto-center feature (i.e. lyx tries to recenter the current viewport to put the line with the caret in the middle) to be annoying--especially when I editing the last paragraph of a file. doc import/export
Hi, is there a way to import doc files into lyx? how about exporting from lyx to a doc file? is this planned for lyx 1.4? Lyx 1.3-4 is out! I can't wait to install it however all the ftp sites are busy and won't let me connect. Can any kind soul put up a lyx-1.3.4 rpm on their site -- I can't wait to install. cannot compile 1.4.0cvs
Hi, I am on linux redhat 9.0 i386 and have checkout the latest cvs source. When I configure --with-frontend=xforms things are compiled and I am able to launch lyx-xforms however, i do not like xforms so i tried ./configure --with-frontend=qt and there are no warnings then i do "make". Hi, how do I change my meta key to ESC? lyx server (not serverpipe)
Hi, In emacs, one can start a emacs-server and then I can do emacsclient file.xyz and it will open this in the existing process. I use lyxpipe a lot, and when I have multiple lyx sessions, this lyxpipe gets corrupted. Is it possible to add this feature in lyx? Feature Request: Buffer Tabs
Hi, It would be great to have buffer tabs in LyX (much like xemacs). This would also solve the problems of corrupted lyxpipe due to multiple lyx sessions. (I use lyx pipe to insert citations into lyx, and since there is a unique instance of lyx pipe, multiple instances of lyx process corrupts the lyx pipe so that external programs can no longer insert.) __ Do you Yahoo!? feature requests: nicer table display
Hi,
I am not sure how hard it would be to implement this
but it would be nice to have tables that wrap lines
rather than just grow horizontally and get off from
the page. I am specifically talking about the case
when I put in the argument for the tabular as p{1in}
etc
Perhaps it would be better to provide another feature
called "multirow tables"

Hi, I want to bind the view->update->postscript to a shortcut key. I searched the lyx-mailing list archive and someone recommended that I put \bind "C-x C-g" "buffer-view-ps" in ~/.lyx/bind/menus.bind file I did that and I get the following message: LyX: Unknown LyX function `buffer-view-ps' [around line 190 of file ~/.lyx/bind/menus.bind] how can I fix this? thanks __ Do you Yahoo!?
