I think I found the trick to solve this and such problem in lyx. Generally, you can edit source in directly in lyx window by insert Tex Code (Ctrl+L). So, the way I do is write the title and author as standard paragraph. Then insert Tex Code, \title{} and \author{} before and after your title and author. You won't get \maktitle anymore. At least, it works fine with me.
