in-text citation
Dear All, I'm using LyX 1.5 to write a thesis. I'm trying to get my in-text citations to look the way I specified it in the LyX:citation window under Formatting, Citation style (for example: Author (Year) or (Author, Year)), but whatever I do it comes out as (number). I use natbib Author-Year in Settings-Bibliography and tried to add \bibpunct{(}{)}{,}{a}{,}{,} to my preamble and change the citation style to different nat and apa styles, but nothing works. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Thank you very much in advance, Ann-Kathrin

table bold
Hi! Does anyone know, if it is possible to get the word Table/Figure in table and figure headings bold? I'm using the report layout and the option InsertFloatstable/figure to place tables and figures into the text. The word Table/Figure is created automaticly in the regular style, can I somehow change it to bold style? And also, I'm using author-year citation and apa style with Bibtex. I'd like to have the et al. italicised, is that possible, or should I use another style (everything else should stay the same though)? Thanks for any help! Liliann

citing organisations
Hi everyone! I'm using author-year citation style with the apa style for the bibliography. I am referencing articles/studies of some organisations, like for example the World Heath Organisation and I would like it to appear as WHO, year in the text and as WHO, World Health Organisation (year) ect in the bibliography. Does anyone have any idea which field to use? With @article and WHO as author I get WHO, W.H.O... Thank you! Liliann

AW: Re: Chapter with numbering but without word chapter - more questions...
Thank you very much! I did manage to get the numbering in front of my own chapter title and also got rid of the space above the chapter title. Great! However, I still have the space at the end of a chapter before a new chapter starts. Can I somehow let a new chapter start on the same page the last one ends? Liliann [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi! Thanks for your advice! Eventhough I'm using the Report style, I still got rid of the word chapter by adding the command (eventhough I had to type it as Tex at the beginning of the document, it wouldn't work in the preamble). Do you by any chance also know, if it is now also possible to get the number of the chapter in front of my own chapter title instead of on top of it? And is there a possibility to get around the pagebreaks when a new chapter starts? http://tug.org/TeXnik/mainFAQ.cgi?file=layouts/examples#header Herbert
