It's a feature: starred headings are not supposed to appear in the TOC.

TOC not picking up chapter names

I'm working ona  book (document class: book), but suddenly my Chapter*
titles won't show up in the table of contents.

It works fine if I switch to Chapter (with the chapter numbers). But
that's not what I want.

Could I correct this somehow? Thanks, FN
