inverse dvi search with 1.4.0pre5 triggers crash
Hi: I'm having trouble getting inverse dvi search to work with pre5 (X11 version of lyx on OS X). I've set File Formats-Viewer-DVI to xdvi -editor 'lyxclient -g %f %l' and Converters-LaTex to DVI-latex --src-specials $$i When I ctrl-click on something in xdvi I get command 'lyxclient -g /private/tmp/lyx_tmp1494gcbk5g/file.tex 560' exited with error code 1 lyxclient: no answer from server and lyx crashes with this message printed in the terminal Assertion triggered in T* boost::shared_ptrT::operator-() const [with T = LyXDataSocket] by failing check px != 0 in file ../boost/boost/shared_ptr.hpp:253 /sw/bin/lyx: line 15: 1494 Abort trap -Jeff -- Jeffrey S. The cursor in LyX properly jumps to the appropriate row (though the screen doesn't move to that row, whether or not the Cursor follows scrollbar option is checked in Preferences User Interface). Bennett P.S.: I didn't realize Fink was providing a LyX-1.4.0 version for X11. Why not use the Mac native version?
