Inserting inset via menu keyboard shortcuts problem
Hi when I insert an inset (e.g. an ERT) via the keyboard using the menu navigation shortcuts, ALT-I x LyX stays in the menu navigation mode, i.e. pressing i does not insert an i in the ERT inset, but opens the menu again. I have to click on the text to return to the normal text mode. Am I missing something here? (Don't tell me about insetring the ERT via CTRL-L - that works, but ERT is only an example. I am using the menu shortcuts to insert TODO notes) Would it be possible to return to normal text mode after a menu command has been been executed? Thanks, Rainer -- Rainer M. The problem comes when I press i afterwards - so the key sequence is: Alt-i x i Try to use 'ctrl-i i' instead. I haven't seen such issues with 'ctrl+i' bindings. Inserting inset via menu keyboard shortcuts problem
Hi when I insert an inset (e.g. an ERT) via the keyboard using the menu navigation shortcuts, ALT-I x LyX stays in the "menu" navigation mode, i.e. pressing "i" does not insert an "i" in the ERT inset, but opens the menu again. I have to click on the text to return to the "normal" text mode. Am I missing something here? (Don't tell me about insetring the ERT via CTRL-L - that works, but ERT is only an example. I am using the menu shortcuts to insert TODO notes) Would it be possible to return to "normal" text mode after a menu command has been been executed? Thanks, Rainer -- Rainer M. I am wondering if it is possible that the same shortcut have different functions in different environment
