This is not a specific problem in LyX 2.2rc1. The same error shows in LyX
2.1.
The problem here is that \ref becomes fragile in the PDF markup
environment. A workaround is to add \protect in TeX mode immediately before
the ref. See attachment.
A proper solution on the LyX level is currently not possible AFAICS. This
