Jrgen, one last thing: John and I are unable to change the output of my .bib file to (author, year) or (author, title) . Do you have a solution? I have been tweaking the settings, but nothing seems to work. Regards, Bernd

Hallo Michael, I have the same problem with Biblatex and use bibtex for now, however I cannot hand in my dissertation with it as it does not show literature with ø or Hebrew signs or any other special sign and does not show newspaper entries properly for me... what do you advice? Best Margret

Hi Bernd, I think the cause of my error was I had said \print bibliography instead of \printbibliography. I was trying a clean new file and did it from memory. Unfortunately I had made several changes and did not realise the stupid spelling mistake. I am now compiling but no bibliography. I
