Captioning

2011-08-10 Thread ider ronneberger
Hello,

I would like to set the main caption beside a float figure and the captions of
the subfloats under the corresponding subfigures. I don't really understand how
I can realize this. I attached an exemplary lyx document.

Thanks in advance,

Ider

Have you looked into Help UserGuide Section 4.6?

Dumb Captioning Question

2010-06-03 Thread Tim Wescott
I want to have some tables in a document, and I want the tables to have
captions.

But I want the positions of the tables to be pinned down -- i.e. I don't
want to use normal floats.

So -- is there a way to have a non-floating float to contain my table
and caption, or is there a way to pin a caption onto a table without a
float? Or is there a Third Way that I'm not imagining?

Insert your float and table
Edit Float Settings Here Definitely
