Try with Pandoc (http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/) which can read LaTeX
 and export to AsciiDoc.

Thanks to you and Rainer!
Pandoc looks very good. I will try it with this. Never heard of it before.

Converting LyX-Document to asciidoc

2013-02-01 Thread Marco Herrn
Hi,

I am searching for a way to convert a LyX document to asciidoc. It seems
that there doesn't exist an export filter yet.

Is there an existing way on doing so? If not, what do I need to do to
write my own output filter for that purpose?

Regards
Marco

I have three Plain Text export filter? Is this what you are looking for?

maybe you are missing some converter for this?

No, asciidoc [1] is a specific format which is written in plain text with some
markup (similar to latex), but with the goal to let the source document with
markup be as readable as possible.

So what I expect from a converter to asciidoc is the conversion of the
markup (headlines, sections, text styles, etc.) to the asciidoc markup.

Ups - sorry. Checkout pandoc [1] - it converts to asciidoc and you can use as
input format xhtml
produced from LyX. Depending on your document, the result may be fine for you.

Cheers,
