English Language Grammar Checker Solution?

2006-05-11 Thread Sadat Chowdhury
How do LYX users (and perhaps TeX/LaTeX users in general) deal with
English language grammar checkers?

I am switching from MS Word and I am a bit used to the grammar checker
provided by Word. I am aware that it misses a lot of mistakes and
catches ones that are not mistakes, but it still catches some stupid
insane mistakes I tend to make.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I believe this is the only grammar checker that integrates itself into
the LyX GUI:
http://wiki.lyx.org/Tools/LyX-GrammarChecker

I would be interested to hear your experiences with it.If you have any
difficulty getting it to work, email me.

I thought he might still be using the Windows OS,
just LyX instead of Word. I think you mentioned
that your grammar checker would probably work on
Windows-Cygwin and Linux, but not Windows.
