My sister is writing her Phd using Word on a Mac but is having some difficulties that I think LyX would solve. Unfortunately she has an early version of OS X and doesn't want to upgrade until her Phd is finished.
Do you know of a good Live CD dist. for Mac, with LyX included? and do you have any tips for importing her work to LyX? BTW. I'm using LyX to write a maths paper and a book -- v. cool. -- Nick
