How to preview-latex?

Hi

is there any step-by-step guide to setting up and using preview-latex with lyx 
1.3pre2/cvs?

If not would somebody post one for the benefit of all us ordinary lyxers?

o install preview-latex
o run Edit-Reconfigure in lyx
o enable Instant preview in the prefs
o restart lyx
