I think hyperlinks are treated as insets. Right-clicking an inset in LyX normally brings up a context menu. Left-clicking an inset normally opens/collapses it. In the case of a hyperlink inset, though, left-clicking opens up the dialog box for it. Since there's nothing else you can do with a hyperlink (at least currently) other than modifying the text or URL, there's no need for a context menu, and apparently none is defined (hence the no action message). There may be other inset types where a left click does all that can be done with them, although at the moment none come to mind. /Paul

I see, this is just some kind of place holder in the source. Why not use this for opening the defined link? Might be useful to improve the writing-reading-writing flow. Cheers, Sam
