I need to refer to a book entitled The Semantics/Pragmatics
Distinction. I'd like to inform LaTeX that it is OK to break after the
slash, but without a hyphen. How?

I usually use the following redefinition of the
Insert Special Chars Breakable Slash
equivalent to \slash in LaTeX
