Re: Latexcad help Again
Ok, first, what i have detected is that the latexcad.sty file has to be C:\Archivos de programa\MiKTeX 2.7\tex\latex if not the error latexcad.sty not found appears. Once copied there and the latexcad.zip descompresed in C:\Archivos de programa\MiKTeX 2.7\tex\latex\latexcad and also in C:\Archivos de programa\MiKTeX 2.7\tex\latex, the .sty file is detected but is when appears the missing \begin{document} errors. Ok, I will install MikTex 2.6 and see what happens. Anyway, the diagrams I needed I did with MS Word, then printed as PDF file and then included in the Lyx file, and the quality is good enough. I suppose the next step is to make sure the package is fully installed. As I recall, you're using MikTeX, right? Did you unzip the entire latexcad.zip archive into one folder whatever\tex\latex? There are eight .sty files, and the latexcad.sty file loads five of them (rotate, fancybox, epic, eepic and epsf). There's a note at the bottom of latexcad.sty that for some reason, the order of these \input's is crucial (generates missing \begin{document} errors). Perhaps if one of them is not loaded, the same thing happens? To test, you can open a command window and run 'kpsewhich rotate.sty', 'kpsewhich fancybox.sty' etc. to verify that MikTeX is aware of all of them. /Paul
