Subject: LyX doesn't store my PDF viewer info
When I set LyX to tell it the path and file name of my Acrobat Reader,
it doesn't stick.
When I quit, and restart

Are you pressing Save or Apply?
Is the data present in you preferences file?
On Windows
C:\Documents and
I hit Modify, then Apply, then Save.
The info DOES seem to be stored in my preferences file, nevertheless,
LyX is unable to remember the viewer associated with PDF files if I
exit and restart, or rather is unable to load the info from the
preferences file.
