Number Tables by Section in Document Settings doesn't work

2011-05-26 Thread Daisuke Koya
Hello All,

I am using LyX 1.6.10 for Macintosh.

My problem is that I would like my tables to be numbered as

Table section.number

. Therefore, I've selected the Number Tables by Section Module under LyX:
Document Settings, but it does not seem to have the same effect as inserting
the following code in the LaTeX Preamble

\numberwithin{table}{section}

. Could someone please tell me whether the above Module is working properly, or
should I stick to inserting code in the LaTeX Preamble?

Thank you very much,

Daisuke Koya

Can you check the generated preamble of a simple document? The module is
supposed to enter exactly that code in the preamble (under 2.0.0, at least).
