I type ctrl-shift-M and I get an unnumbered, separate equation. I type ctrl-M and I get an in-line equation. But when I type ctrl-alt-M I get absolutely nothing at all. Selecting Insert->Math->Numbered equations works, but it's tedious. Lyx 1.6.4 on Ubuntu 9.10. Clues for the clueless? -- T
