That's a whole lot simpler and less risky than tampering with my Qt4 version. Later, when I upgrade to Ubuntu K, qt4 will be upgraded for me. To cite myself: The best thing that I can think of in your case is that you have run into bug #5957: If you scale down an image with an odd number of rows
