Is it possible to automate changes in figure settings and cross-references?

example, changing the width of all figures from 80% of text width to 60% of
text width or changing all cross-references from number + page to only
number?
I've a couple of documents with many figures and tables

For figures, a nice feature to use is 'figure group'. Give a name to a

JMarc,
Another useful approach. Thanks for the insight!
