And I think turning ~ into a macro is a design flaw... (" in german is
already annoying, but not as much since it is not used in TeX anyway).

If I create a description with for example: El_nodo bla bla bla Where "_" is a "control space". The result will be: Elñodo This error happens when the documente Language is set to Spanish.
