Text in table is all boldface
Hi, I am using Lyx 1.5.4, and all text that I put in any table turns up as boldface in the dvi/pdf output. See the attached file. How do I make this text to appear as normal fonts, except for the first row where I do want the text to appear as bold? Thanks, Philip table_boldface.lyx Description: application/lyx

Thanks, Philip I suspect this was an accident, but you put the table in a Description environment. Description is a type of list in which the first word (everything up to the first breakable space) is in bold. In this case, LaTeX treats the table as a single word, so the entire thing was in bold. The solution is to (a) change the environment the table sits in to standard and then (b) highlight the first row and use the text style dialog to change it to bold. I'm attaching a modified copy. /Paul table_boldface.lyx Description: application/lyx
