Allright ! The dificult point to "understand" is that "choose
Layout-paragraph-more-foatflt AND the width" must be done IN the line of
the figure, not the caption, not the text bellow. It is not clearly
(INMHO) explained in the guide.

I am not able to reproduce this feature, exposed in the "Extended Lyx
Features".

I follow all the steps, but nothing happens. The figure is placed as
allways, and there is no space reserved for the figure in the paragraph
with the floatflt feature enabled. Maybe that's incompatible with
specifying the float placement in the "Document Layout" popup ?

I have RedHat 5.2 + Lyx 1.0.1 (rpm).

Features".

I follow all the steps, but nothing happens. The figure is placed as
allways, and there is no space reserved for the figure in the paragraph
with the floatflt feature enabled. Maybe that's incompatible with
specifying the float placement in the "Document Layout" popup ?
