How to put two figures side by side having different Caption and No.?

Dear All, There is a package called subfigure to put two sub-figures side by side in ONE figure float. However, I want to put two figures side by side but in two figure floats to obtain two different CAPTIONs and figure numbers. Do you have any solutions? Thanks a lot in advance. Yours
